Ameren Illinois' Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is activated.

The EOC activated at 19:15 to respond to restoration efforts in southern Illinois. The primary cause of the outages was weather-related, strong thunderstorms moving across southern Illinois.

Be safe and stay away from downed wires, Call 1.800.755.5000 to report gas leak or downed wires.
