The weather forecast service reports that there continues to be a chance for strong-to-severe storms to move across southern Illinois through at least the morning hours. As outlined below, division crews are currently responding to active outages throughout our service territory caused by a line of storms moving through southern Illinois at present. Over 3700 customers are without service at this time in the southern Illinois area.

We will continue to remain at a heightened state of preparedness at this time and we will re-assess conditions and the forecast early this afternoon.
