At 15:00 today about 40 customers remain without power in La Salle. Over 500 customers' service has been restored. Remaining restoration for La Salle area is estimated at 24:00

About 1600 Kewanee customers remain with out power. Estimated restoration time for the Kewanee area is 1600 today, barring any additional storms.

Restoration work by Ameren Illinois has been done is a safe manner. Two safety professionals are in the field working with the crews.

Weather forecast at 12:00 was for more severe storms. The general area for strong to severe storms this afternoon will be north of I-64, with the favored area more likely between Peoria and I-70. Evening hour storms will focus more south of I-74. During the overnight hours, a frontal system will lay somewhere near I-70, keeping a threat for some shower and storm activity across southern Illinois.
