Kewanee and LaSalle Areas Impacted
In the Kewanee area, a large number of the customers out-of-service are associated with an outage to circuit 5382; the outage is the result of wind damage to 5 - 75' poles.
Work is underway to procure a minimum of 15 3-man crews (45 FTEs) and 15 one-man trucks (15 FTEs) to assist in the effort, along with 15 Field Checkers (15 FTEs) to replaced those Division I personnel who will work through the night. In addition polling is to begin to procure 2-3 additional OAS dispatchers and 3-4 field supervisors to assist in the management of the additional field personnel. These personnel will be a combination of in-house and contractor line resources. Clerical resources are being polled to assist in the Division offices as well. In addition, extra vegetation management personnel (3 additional cresw) are to be polled to assist.
The objective is to procure the resources through the night in enough time to expect them in the Division to begin restoration work at or near daybreak

Kewanee area - 1600 on 07/24/10
