More storms push across central Illinois

Severe storms with lightning continue to push across central Illinois. The summary of our operational status as of 19:30 on July 19, 2010.

Safety: No incidents to report – two Safety Professionals are in the field working with the crews.

Status of Restoration: The area around Lawrenceville, Albion, Robinson, Olney and Bridgeport is restoring in a timely manner and work is expected to continue. The areas around N. Pana, Taylorville, and Assumption will clean up a bit slower, due to the higher levels of damage

Estimated Restoration Time Update:

2030 – July 19, 2010 – areas in and around Lawrenceville, Albion, Bridgeport, Olney (with the exception of some single outages and customers needing repairs to their equipment – these outages may continue into mid-day tomorrow)

2400 – July 19, 2010 – areas in and around N. Pana, Taylorville, and Assumption (with the exception of some single outages and customers needing repairs to their equipment – these outages may continue into mid-day tomorrow)

Important Note: our customers need to call in (1-800-755-5000) if they have had an electrician make repairs to their equipment in order to establish a re-connect order.
