Restoration slowed to due additional outages
Status of Outages:
o Restoration progress has been slower than anticipated – approximately 700 customers restored (storm-related) since the 07:00 assessment call
o Some non storm-related outages have demanded crew attention in the Peoria dispatch area.
o New outages developed in the Pekin dispatch area, including one to a nursing home.
o Division Command Center team anticipates that the pace of restoration pick up through the afternoon hours.
Updated Estimated Restoration Times (ERT's) by Community and their surrounding areas (all ERT times are June 24, 2010 times)
o Pekin – 13:00 amended to 18:00
o Peoria – 12:00 amended to 16:30
o LaSalle – 15:00 amended to 14:00
o Galesburg – 13:00 amended to 13:30
o Kewanee – 20:00 (remains the same)
One large job in the Kewanee area impacts some 1,450 customers – crews are working on the job at present to replace 3 sub-transmission poles with under-build. This project will take until later this afternoon to complete.
As crews complete work in Peoria and Pekin, they will be relocated to assist in the LaSalle and Kewanee areas
