Weather Alert Continues

Power has been restored to thousands of homes and businesses throughout Illinois. Ameren Illinois' crews worked overnight to restore service to those areas impacted by Wednesday's severe thunderstorms. Currently, there are less than 7,000 customers without power mostly in the following counties: Edgar, Fayette, Franklin, Logan and Macon, With no additional severe weather, most customers should be restored by Thursday evening.
