Thousands Restored - Remaining Majority in Eight Counties

We have responded to this morning's fast-moving storms by restoring power to thousands of homes and businesses in the central and northern parts of Illinois. We continue to work to restore power to about 3,000 customers spread over an eight county area: Champaign, Christian, Crawford, Logan, Macon, Mason, Peoria and Vermilion. Most customers will have power restored this evening, but we will be working throughout the night to rebuild 14 poles that help serve customers in the community of Oconee.
