AIU Responding New Outages

Storms throughout downstate Illinois have created power outages to more than 30,000 homes and businesses. The EOC was activated early Thursday morning to respond to storms in the Peoria and Galesburg area, but now outages extend from Quincy to Champaign and areas north and south. Currently, AIU has nearly 700 co-workers and contrators working in the Peoria and Galesburg area. We are responding to other outages in the state with other co-workers and reaching out to contract allies. Currently, there are about 32,000 homes and business without power.
