Driving Towards Completion Today

Safety continues to first and foremost. Spirits are high and the Ameren Illinois Utilities will sustain its efforts in Southern Illinois until we get the job done. We are driving towards completion today. With Wednesday’s sustained winds and weather, we made outstanding progress. In fact, at midnight we had restored service to more than 60,000 homes and businesses. Thunderstorms early Thursday were a minor setback, but a large workforce is still in Southern Illinois and they were off and running early this morning.
