The Ameren Illinois Utilities continue its aggressive efforts to restore power to those communities affected by severe storms that blew through Southern Illinois Friday. More than 1,400 workers are working 16-18 hour shifts to restore power. Safety continues to be our first priority - for customers, co-workers and outside contractors.
