At 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 18, the Ameren Illinois Utilities activated the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) to coordinate a statewide response to a severe winter storm that impacted significant portions of the Ameren Illinois Utilities' service territory. Most outages occured in Central Illinois.
