- Damage assessment so far has identified 50 known poles down
- IL Rte. 16 will be cleared tonight for traffic – work to be completed tomorrow

Working Hours:
– Personnel will be ending work by 23:00 tonight for rest and resuming restoration work at 05:00 tomorrow.
Operations at Red Alert:
In order to coordinate Ameren Illinois resources the Emergency Operations Center was activated, effective at 16:30 on August 16, 2012. At 16:40 the peak number of outages were 22,677. As of 21:00, 11,996 outages have been restored.
