Operations on Yellow Alert
Weather Update:
There is a threat (15-20%) for isolated storms with winds 55-65 mph and high amounts of lightning to impact the southeast portions of our service territory later this afternoon. Points south and east of a line from Chester, Il to Terra Haute, IN are at particular “risk” from this type of development this afternoon and evening.
Operations at YELLOW Alert:
Based on this weather forecast guidance, the Ameren Illinois organization will remain at YELLOW weather alert status through this day. Ameren Illinois operations are ready to respond as needed to any storm outages.
