Update: As of 1:15 p.m., June 28, Ameren Illinois workers have restored power to more than 17,000 customers since early Monday morning. While about 850 field and support personnel work to restore electric service to the remaining 13,000 customers, Ameren Illinois has opened a special Customer Service Center at the Quincy City Hall in cooperation with the city to assist area residents. It is anticipated a significant number of Quincy residents and businesses will have their service restored today with the majority of the restoration work being completed by Wednesday evening. Estimated Restoration Times (ERTs) are as follows for Quincy and nearby communities:

The Ameren Illinois Emergency Operations Center (EOC) has been activated since 08:30 June 26, 2011 due to severe storms causing outages across central and southern Illinois.
